The all new performance inspired Infiniti M Hybrid, took on all German competition at a recent event. The Japanese company has boldly made the claim "to have the fastest hybrid sedan on the market and aims to prove it," according to Auto Week.1
The M hybrid weighs a mere 4129 pounds, and posses a power-to-weight ratio of 11.46 pounds/horsepower. The zero to 60 time on this car was a breathtaking 5.7 seconds! This makes it one of the fastest hybrid vehicles of all time.
Featuring a 3.5-liter V6 engine, the 2012 M hybrid is capable of producing 360-horsepower along with 258 lb-ft of torque. Normally with this kind of power, fuel economy can turn potential buyers away. This is not the case with the M Hybrid, which can achieve 32 mpg on the highway. Not to mention a great starting price of $54,595 for M35h.
